Hosted by the queen of dress-ups is Pamela, who volunteers her time as Bingo master in our Care Facility on Thursday’s and also by our Diversional Therapy team on a Tuesday. Bingo is also a favoured activity at our Day Services Programme, Tuesdays to Thursday’s. It’s not just a game, it’s a brain boosting fun activity that helps to maintain mental sharpness and foster social connection. The bounty of these days is chocolate!! We need an endless supply to keep our players engaged and eager for more. So, if you want to be a hero for our bingo-loving residents (and chocolate enthusiasts), please support this sweet initiative!

Cuppa Tea Shout - $30

Would you like to help make someone’s birthday extra special? How about shouting a cuppa tea (or coffee) for one of our residents? During their birthday month, we love taking our birthday stars out for a treat – because nothing says “Happy Birthday” quite like coffee, cake, and a good chat with friends. It is a simple gesture, but it brings a lot of smiles. So let’s raise our mugs and toast to making birthday’s a little bit sweeter one cuppa at a time!

Arts & Crafts - $35

Attention fabulous gift-givers! Our village thrives on arts and crafts all thanks to our incredible diversional therapy team and our dedicated volunteers. They bring creativity to life and sprinkle a little joy into our care facility with a full week of engaging activities for our residents.

Your contribution helps us keep these crafty shenanigans rolling – because who doesn’t want to see our residents unleash their inner Picasso? Its not just a gift, its an investment in smiles and creativity!

Sponsor an outing - $40

Many of our residents have deep roots within the Kerikeri community, with many having worked and lived here for many years. We want to be able to take them away for more social outings to revisit the places and experiences that hold a special place in their hearts.

Mural for Tui - $100

Attention art lovers and community heroes! Our Tui wing is currently looking a bit too plain and drab. We’re on a mission to transform this space into a vibrant and engaging home for our residents with dementia.

Enter, Erika Pearce, the artistic genius behind the new wall mural on ..Shop wall in town. Erika has designed four fabulous murals that will bring life and colour to our walls! Unfortunately, our budget is looking as bare as the walls, but we know these murals will bring immense joy to our residents.

Help us turn this dream into reality. Let’s fill the Tui wing with art and happiness. Your support can make it happen!

Plush Animals - $150

Looking for the perfect gift that brings comfort and calm, without needing to be walked or fed? Consider donating a weighted stuffed animal for our residents whom are living with dementia! These soft cuddly companions are more than just adorable – they work wonders in reducing anxiety and providing a sense of calm. Weighted toys help soothe our residents by offering gentle pressure that feels like a hug, easing restlessness and creating a sense of peace. Who wouldn’t want a stuffed animal friend that never runs out of cuddles!

Furnish for Comfort - $150

Our Paterson Wing is crying out for some furniture love – seriously, some of our chairs have been around since the early 90’s. Its time for an upgrade before they become historical artifacts!

And over in the Tui wing, we’re also in desperate need of outdoor bench seats.  We want our residents to step outside, soak up the sunshine, and feel the breeze on their faces.

Let’s give our rest home the makeover they deserve! Your support can help us replace those ancient chairs and add some cozy benches, making our spaces feel welcoming and vibrant. After all, who doesn’t want to relax in style and comfort!

Garden Path - $250

The Village green is our little slice of paradise, where our residents can stretch their legs and soak up some sunshine. It’s a botanical wonderland brimming with plants, flowers and the occasional curious critter.

But reaching this slice of serenity? It’s like tackling a mini mountain. With only one steep entrance, it is a challenge for our residents to access as their walkers and wheelchairs get stuck in the mud after too much rain. Our goal? A new, gentler path that circles the green, plus a second entrance to make life easier for all. After all getting outside, socialising and staying involved isn’t just fun – its great for mental and physical health too!

Wheelchair Wonders - $575

Looking for a gift that really moves people? How about a wheelchair! Not just any wheelchair – this is the key to freedom, adventure, and most importantly, leaving the room for bingo.

By donating a wheelchair to our aged care facility, you’re giving our residents the chance to roll out and join in on all the fun – whether its catching up with friends or joining in on activities. Trust us, nothing says ‘you care’ quite like helping getting someone get out and about!
