Ten of the 30 one and two-bedroom apartments being built at Kerikeri Retirement Village have already been sold and the Village is reporting ‘strong interest’ on the remaining 20. Construction is expected to be complete in May next year.
Village manager Frances Shaw said she had sent out 140 information packs to people across Northland, Auckland and beyond.
A ‘virtual’ open day will be held in Kerikeri on 12 December between 3pm and 6pm. Architects for the project will take interested people on a virtual tour of the building and show them a studio containing a sample kitchen and some of the materials and furnishings to be used in the building.
