Kerikeri Village

Hospital Care – Robinson Wing.

Hospital care is given to elderly residents living in the hospital part of a Rest Home that need a high level of support in all aspects of everyday life.

We have a team of experienced Registered Nurses and qualified Healthcare Assistants on hand 24/7, together with the equipment they need to provide quality care.

Our carers have a history of long service, enabling them to build strong relationships with our residents and their families. It’s this level of understanding that supports a culture of mutual respect and good communication.

We also have a Physiotherapist available and a Diversional Therapy team who provide a variety of activities and social stimulation, with extra cheer and assistance offered by our team of friendly volunteers. Our Chaplain is also happy to visit residents and we hold multi-denominational church services in our onsite chapel.

While the Robinson Wing provides specialised Hospital Care, we aim to create a relaxed, homelike feel and we encourage residents to bring mementos for their room such as treasured pictures, photographs or a favourite chair.

As with any care we offer, eligibility will be determined by the Needs Assessment Team from the District Health Board and we can put you in touch with the appropriate person.
