Our management and Board of Trustees take the health and safety of our workers, residents, and visitors very seriously.
In addition to this we have a Quality & Risk Team which proactively looks for ways to improve our processes and systems. Together with the Board of Trustees, they promote and recognise excellence in health, safety and risk management and every six months they recognise the person who has best demonstrated an outstanding commitment to safety and/or innovation in Health and Safety with a certificate and a $100 bonus. We have also created a number of training videos that we use as part of our induction process and for ongoing training purposes.
At the NZ Aged Care Association 2017 Conference we were recognised for our innovative approach to training and were thrilled to receive a Highly Commended Certificate for our video about Safe Handling.
