Head Gardener

Set in the heart of Kerikeri on approximately 14 acres, we are home to 180+ retirees who enjoy a variety of modern, independent living and care options.

Our village is renowned for both our beautiful grounds and a sense of family that comes from the close relationships we foster between our staff, our residents and their families, volunteers and community.

We have a permanent 40 hour a week contract available, for someone who holds a Level Four Horticulture Qualification, or equivalent.

The role involves upkeep and development of our grounds and gardens, managing a team of 3-4 gardeners, maintaining equipment, landscaping and some plant propagation. Management of a budget and some reporting is involved.

Our ideal candidate will be empathetic and will treat each resident as an individual, showing them the respect and kindness they deserve.

Registered Nurse - Casual On-Call

This role will include alternate weekends, with AM, PM, and Night Shifts.

Village Support Manager

We are an ever-expanding sector, committed to quality care in our accredited residential care facility and retirement village.

We have a position available for 16 hours per week on a Thursday and Friday for a person with the following - 

  • Registered Nurse Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to lead a team and work unsupervised
  • A commitment to learning and leading Clinical Management
  • An ability to work with other health organisations

In addition to this, you will need to be flexible, tolerant, and empathetic.  

Experience in aged care is preferred.

Experienced Cook

We are an ever-expanding sector, committed to quality care in our accredited residential care facility.

We have a position available for a Casual On-Call Cook.

Kerikeri Retirement Village is home to 66 residents, throughout our rest home and total care facility.

This role includes preparation and cooking of 66 meals, clean up / dishes, baking, and covering of kitchen staff when necessary.

Outside meals and catering roles are also part of this position.
