Diversional Therapist - Social Centre / Activities

Our charitable Retirement Village and Care Facility lies in the heart of Kerikeri, a short walk to almost everything.  

We are a caring community with a dedicated team of staff, supporters, friends, and home to approximately 120 people.

This is a chance to have a role within the Village, that contributes to our Adult Day Programme in our Social Centre.  It's a vital role for a special, committed person who doesn't mind quite a large amount of fun and games!

This position is available for 19.5 hours a week, on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for a person with the following -

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A sense of fun, and affinity with seniors
  • An ability to work well with others in the Diversional Therapy team
  • Flexibility to cover other DT shifts when needed

Village Support Manager

We are an ever-expanding sector, committed to quality care in our accredited residential care facility and retirement village.

We have a position available for 16 hours per week on a Thursday and Friday for a person with the following - 

  • Registered Nurse Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to lead a team and work unsupervised
  • A commitment to learning and leading Clinical Management
  • An ability to work with other health organisations

In addition to this, you will need to be flexible, tolerant, and empathetic.  

Experience in aged care is preferred.

Experienced Cook

We are an ever-expanding sector, committed to quality care in our accredited residential care facility.

We have a position available for a Casual On-Call Cook.

Kerikeri Retirement Village is home to 66 residents, throughout our rest home and total care facility.

This role includes preparation and cooking of 66 meals, clean up / dishes, baking, and covering of kitchen staff when necessary.

Outside meals and catering roles are also part of this position.

Applicants must be organised, approachable, reliable, and enjoy contact with the elderly.
