On the 14th of April we said farewell and a huge thank you to Volunteer Coordinator Penelope Spencer who has been with us for a number of years. We also welcomed her replacement Evelyn Lewis.
Happily though, we will still be seeing Penelope from time to time in her role with Village Support.
Our volunteers came together to enjoy a talk from our Staff Development Coordinator about people suffering from dementia and how to best support them.
Then they enjoyed fabulous food from our kitchen, some lovely wine and a great evening was had by all.
Thank you as always to our wonderful team of volunteers – we appreciate very much all that you do in the Village. Our heroes!
