Every Mum deserves some appreciation and thanks to the Kerikeri Floral Art Group we were able to celebrate all the wonderful mothers in our Village.
The floristry group joined forces with some of our residents on the Friday before Mother’s Day and, using a selection of blooms from our magnificent gardens, made posies that were hand delivered to our mums by Mike Preece (who DJs our bi-monthly dance playing vintage records).
They also made the table decorations that were used at our Mother’s Day Dance held later that day, where Mike had staff and residents alike carving up the dance floor. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful decorations and a memorable get together.
