Kylie Mooney appointed to Kerikeri Retirement Village Board  

 

Kylie Mooney has been appointed to the board of Kerikeri Retirement Village Ltd as an independent director.

Kylie is an accomplished senior executive with experience on both corporate and not-for-profit boards. She is a member of the Institute of Directors and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland and a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies  from Massey University.

She runs Haupārua Consulting, offering advice and support in the areas of strategic planning, project management, business process improvement and change management. She was previously chief executive officer and chief operating officer of Meredith Connell, one of New Zealand’s larger law firms and the office of the Crown Solicitor in Auckland.

Kylie serves on the Board of Trustees of The Turner Centre, the Far North’s leading performing arts and conference and events venue. She has also served as a Trustee at Diversity Works (previously the Equal Employment Opportunity Trust), a government-funded organisation established to increase business awareness of the benefits of a diverse workforce, and at Good Shepherd Primary School, a Catholic school in Auckland.

Kerikeri Retirement Village Limited is a Charitable Company. It is owned jointly and equally by the Kerikeri Village Community Trust and charitable social services provider PSN. The board of directors comprises a mix of shareholder representatives and independent directors.
