Sit Fit Classes

Move it or lose it! Every Monday at 10 am, rain or shine, resident Gillian Preece leads a dedicated group of around 16 village residents in a Sit Fit exercise program. The exercises are done while seated in a chair and are designed to raise participants heart rates. 

It’s also recognised that stretching, cardio and balance in these classes can help to decrease the chance of injuries and falls.

Some members who have had knee surgery, cracked pelvis, shoulder injuries, sciatica found that keeping fit helped them to recover faster!

All Village residents are welcome to join in and start their week positively.
