Lorraine Robson celebrated her 102nd Birthday on November 1st with a High Tea, held in the H Murray Room. She was joined by her daughter and four friends (Lorraine’s other two children were unable to visit due to Covid restrictions).
Lorraine really enjoyed reminiscing and sharing stories of her past, to the great amusement of her guests.
She received many messages and greeting cards from friends and relatives throughout New Zealand, Australia and the US.
She has five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
Lorraine left her Christchurch home of seventy years to be near her daughter, Annette and moved into the Village almost four years ago. Initially she had a unit in The Pavilion but recently moved into Paterson Wing,
Lorraine enjoys reading, playing word games, socialising with other residents and going on the Village bus outings.
