While Covid continues to scuttle any large gatherings, the weather was kind to Nell allowing her to celebrate her 105th Birthday with some of her close friends. They gathered out on the Village Green and marked the occasion with cake and a glass or two of wine (something Nell attributes her longevity to). Nell also received many cards and tributes from friends and family who were unable to attend due to the current restriction.
Nell, who is one of the original residents of the Village, continues to live independently in the cottage that she moved into in September 1986.
