For as long as the Kerikeri Retirement Village has existed Val & Henry have been donating their time on a regular basis pouring cups of tea, helping at the community dinner, assisting with the day programme and helping out wherever they are needed. Henry who is a very young 95 reckons it's time he and Val take a little more time for themselves. We held a high tea to thank them for all their years of service. There were four generations of family at the function, as well as many friends and a lot of the residents who have enjoyed their help over the years.
